i have a memory from the cot i was asleep with my mum in the room but it was my brothers ( parents must have had an argument ) and i heard a voice talking to me now i know it was my dads but at the time i was convinced the t rex on my wallpaper in the other room was coming for me
So my first memory was filled with dread and anxiety, pretty fitting really
When I was 2, I had a small cup of soda that I tried to lie down with and drink like it was a bottle. I got soda on my face and my mom laughed. She poured me a new cup and I drank it the way I should've of in the first place. lol
I think I remember burning my hands on the oven when I was under 2, but it could just be I was told about it a lot as a kid.
Thanks everyone for your comments, it's nice that we can all share and get along :)
I remember running around in circles in the living room, because I needed to go pee really bad. I knew how to use the toilet, but I was refusing to go. My sisters were sitting on the living room floor and they said to our mom, ''We've been telling her to go to the bathroom, but she won't.'' ...My mom tells me I used to scream when put on the toilet.
I just remember vague bits, like being carried around. I think something happened in a field with some fireworks, and something got stuck in a tree. We had moved to a new house at some point before I turned four, but my first really clear memories are of that house and not the older house. It's weird not remembering a place you spent at least three years in.
I remember that once, when I was 2 and a half years old, I got a burn on by hand from hot water.
I remember my diaper pail. It was made of porcelain-coated steel and had a chip in the porcelain. I remember staring at the chip before I could talk. This was before disposable diapers were invented.
I remember leaving the UK when I was 3, going to the airport and I thought it was a shopping centre because there were a lot of people pushing trolleys
I remember my family and I standing in the hall, as if posing for one of those creepy family portraits from the 30's, while smoke poured through the house, the duration of which they just stared. I looked up at them to marvel at this strange occurrence, their reaction being stranger than the smoke. I thought this was how I was born.
I also recall my sister not sharing potato chips with me because "potato chips make you fat and boys don't want a fat girlfriend".
Yes I remember when I was 3 sitting peacefully on my cousin's lap at a family gathering, and she would be holding me as usual with her hands sunk back about two inches deep into the soft of my stomach.
Yes. I remember ballet and gymnastic classes. And my sister getting all the praise and attention.
