So, it looks like people are using the preview option, but they're just not seeing their errors.
Yes, always. I'd hate to have made a glaring error, especially if it changed the meaning of the story, and it annoys me when I see other people make them.
Yes, the preview shows much better how the story will look to commenters. I usually change lots of things around. Unfortunately, that option does not seem to exist for polls. I also like the edit function for comments and much prefer the font used for it to the one you type in initially.
Yes. Its beneficial for rewording awkwardly stated things and to correct misspelled words.
Just another button. Get things done right the first time and you won't have to preview it.
Usually i skim it over to make sure that there is half decent punctuation and/or grammar.
