Only a decade?? Gross. No, not really. My stuff is mostly much older thank you very much. Bester stuff.
I have a Milner's patent 202 fire resistant safe from the 1850s and in that safe I have viking artifacts that are supposed to be over 900 years old.
Do I win this one?
From what I've heard, we all have shit in our intestinal track that's been in there more than a decade?
Are you kidding me? Almost everything I own is over ten years old. I don't agree with this cultural obsession with "newness". Things don't feel "new" long enough for it to be worth it to keep replacing things that don't need to be replaced, especially as quality often keeps declining with each generation of item.
A pillow and blanket, actually. I've had them for 12 years. They're pieces of shit, so I don't use them anymore, but they're the only thing I have from when I was young. I moved around a lot and lost a lot of stuff, so I held onto them because they gave me a sense of stability. =)
My car is an '03. I take good care of it - It takes good care of me. - It's true love.
Does my vehicle count? I drive a really old vehicle.
Does a rock count? I have an arrowhead that I'm sure fits the bill.
Other than that, I probably have a few tools that might fit the bill too.
Old vehicles are the absolute best. Mine is a little older than me. I don't really like any that came out after the 70's. No sir.
Well, mines a bit younger than the 70's. If I had the ability to take care of one that old I would love it though. Mine is just getting me by right now. I love it to death, but I don't know how much longer it's going to last me. I can't take care of it properly right now in my life...
I've had to get rid of a few over the years because I couldn't keep up with the maintenance and repairs. I'm determined to keep this one on the road forever and ever. I had one just like it about 13 years ago and I cried when it got towed away, I must keep her sister alive!
i am 18 and all my belongings are supposed to be 2,3 years old, but at 28 i give you guarantee i would have many old articles, as a child and teen i am very careless towards my things
i have a stuff bear named fuzzy i had since i was born....my mom got it for my baby shower...i also have a baby blanket.
i have pokemon toys i got when i was a kid and have since given them to my daughter.
i have a very old gameboy along with very old games.
i have some school work i did and medals i won as a kid.
i have a jewelry box my great grandma owned.
i have photography pictures my great grandpa took(photography teacher)
I own some old stamps
i own some old money some of it from other countries
I have lots of things over a decade old. Books mostly. My PS2, some of my keepsakes. Also our horses :P haha they're both over ten years old.
I had some time pieces I threw in the trash that were my grandfathers, I had no use for them. I have a pretty old cookie tin though from the 20's that works for holding items. I usually throw away sentimental items esp if they're without function. Photos, jewelry, etc.
Any ways I'm more then a couple decades old so most of my stuff is old, most my clothes from when I was still kid fit up till a few months ago. Only started buying new clothes 20+ years later.
My most priced possessions are my books, and magazines. Any thing you can absorb information from, I think the oldest in my collection is from the 1930's not that old at all but old enough, I have a decent collection from the 40's as well. The magazines go back to the 60's.
i own multiple old things, but my favorite is a Chinese cabinet that was given to me by my grandmother after she passed away. Before she had it, it belonged to my Uncle who left it to her when he passed away. It has some interesting ornaments in it that have been in my family a long time.
