When you somebody asks you to swear in order to make sure you're telling the truth, what do you usually do?

I thought you meant the other type of swearing.
If I'm telling the truth, I'm telling the truth. I don't need to 'swear' it. I'm not a child.
Though I do use the phrase in speech on occasion. I dunno why :/
I remember that I'm an adult and proceed accordingly. I either swear on a stack of pancakes, or slap you for being stupid.
I don't swear and I hate when people try to make me. I am honest with a promise, 9/10 times.
If you don't believe in any gods then putting your hand on a bible and swearing an oath is pretty hollow.
Swearing allegiance to a cause or organization has it's drawbacks too. We all swore allegiance to the US before going to Nam, but found out that what we were told was not very close to the truth, so was our oath valid if based on lies? That was not fighting for our country, it was fighting for our lives after our country dumped us over there!
i do tht sometimes but it dependes on the circumstances on whether i mean it or not. Im not a kid so i dnt go running around swearing on everything!

Like, a pinky swear?!?! OMG you know if someone, like, breaks one of those then, like, they have to have their pinky broken right?!

Never swear if you don't mean it, unless you want to lose your friends and more.
