Do you lock your door?

I locked the door and threw away the key...there's someone in my head but its not me :/

Always. I may live with a ferocious guard dog, but I don't want to take the chance.

I always do. Most thefts happen because the opportunity presented itself.

I always lock my car door. People have broken into it before. But my front door rarely gets locked unless the house is going to be empty for a while. Or, if I am home alone at night. Which rarely happens. My house looks shitty, no wants in.

I always lock all my doors, except inside my own apartment I don't lock my bedroom door. As a flasher I always get slightly aroused at the thought somebody might peek in my bedroom door while I'm sleeping. Sometimes when people are here overnight I play a recording of my snoring and pretend I'm sleeping and lay naked uncovered on my bed in hopes somebody might peek in on me, and maybe catch me playing with myself in my "sleep" or something.

I guess I should explain; I live in an apartment in a relatively safe arew with lots of nosy old people who notice everything and no through traffic. My lock on the door is hard to use it sticks and is so annoying most of the time I just don't bother unless Ill be away for a long time. I know I should lock it but it takes forever tolock and unlock and the apartment people haven't fixed it.

When I lived with my parents in a higher middle class neighborhood I hardly cared about locking doors. We, nor anyone around us, ever experienced break-ins. After moving to Milwaukee I locked everything all the time. I think it depends where you live, how many people are around, and who lives near you.

If I'm at home during the day I don't lock the door but I couldn't sleep at night if the door was unlocked.

My front door half-locks automatically, which is a good thing too because I live in an area with a lot of students and there are a higher-than-average number of break-ins.

No car, but we lock the Zodiac and motor to the dock when we go ashore, always. We lock our door when we go to sleep, without fail especially as there have been a few late night boardings, by locals, over the last few years. As a matter of fact there was one just last week, in another bay near us.

Yes I lock my car doors. I live in a ghetto town. I've seen what happens to other people who leave their cars unlocked. They've had money, jewelry, clothing, tools, and even car parts stolen. I don't leave anything important in my car, but I still lock it so I don't lose anything.
