Do you like to drive manual or automatic?

I drive manual - and as I'm from a country that drives on the left - I use my left hand to change gears (right handed)

When I was younger and drove sportier cars, I preferred a manual transmission, as it gave me more control over the acceleration - plus it just felt sportier. But driving a stick in heavy traffic or in a hilly area, such as San Francisco, is a serious pain! Now that I'm older and have bad wrists, not to mention that I don't have the quick reflexes I had when I was younger, I definitely prefer an automatic.

I like a good stick. I was in my beetle once and went to get gas, and since all the attendants are hindu or paki or some such, the guy was so surprised that I could drive stick. He said he never knew a woman from his country that could drive a stick.

I really like both. I have a manual and Angela's getting a manual. It's nice knowing how to drive manual because I can teach her. Manual is a lot more fun though!!
