I think it's gorgeous and comliment them on it whenever I see someone wearing it.

I would HOPE that everyone wears it by choice, in which case, good for them. I find it to be pretty, but unfortunately I love hair and wigs too much.

The burqa is much more fashionable and great to wear during the summer in 115 degree heat. People don't need to see their eyes anyway.

I would only do what it's rational; wearing a hijab is pretty rational but walk arount with a pineapple up my butt wouldn't be

If they want to wear it for religious reasons, let them.

I'm not Muslim so wearing one for religious reasons is not part of it for me. I like some of them in that they are very pretty material and designs. Beyond that I think it often adds a little mystery and understated sensuality to a woman.

No, but just because I like hair :) Hijabs press the hair down so it makes the face/head look somewhat off balance and not attractive, most of the time.

    I do not mind hijab.

Hair is very attracting. I might go as far as to say it's the most attractive part of the body to me, and headscarves do have the disadvantage of covering the hair.

However, headscarves can be worn very attractively too. You can either be very stylish with fun colours and patterns which subvert the traditionalism which most people associate with a headscarf, or go the other way and embrace the spirit of modesty completely by combining the headscarf with traditional dress or other conservative clothes.

In many ways I think it would be interesting if more people chose to wear headscarves without any religious reasons, so long as it's done in a way which is sensitive to people who do wear them for religious reasons. There's no reason for headscarves to be reserved for Muslim women.

I'm not sure they wear it in their heads or that it's a "scark", but don't let me divert you from your ignorance.

They usually aren't worn to be pretty, but I think they can definitely look good. And I've seen some very fashionable, colourful, or cool-patterned ones too, which I thought were awesome!

But as a white, non-Muslim woman, my opinion on hijabs and how hijabis wear them isn't really important.

I believe that women that wear them usually have stunning faces, who cares what people wear on their head anyway?
