I'm very impressed by him. He strikes me as intelligent, articulate, right-thinking, and confident. Perhaps even moreso than Bill Clinton.

I wouldn't drink with him! He's the type of guy to think a working man's beer is Blue Moon. I'm not saying he needs to shoot Crown Royal or anything...just that he's not a man who ever got his hands dirty and I don't consort with those types.
As a president, the only difference between him and the last four is a deeper tan and a more forked tongue.

Seriously. That man has no real plan of action.
He is good at public speaking - unless you start pointing out the holes and inconsistencies in his speech.
What "plans" he's come up with have been violations of the Constitution or attempts to reduce what rights the Constitution covers.
On top of this, before becoming a president he fought tooth and nail to reduce military operations, including Gitmo and our involvement in the Middle East. Thankfully he failed at those attempts. If he had succeeded we wouldn't have had the intelligence data that was crucial in getting Osama.
Yes if Obama had gotten his way we would NEVER have had that information that lead to the end of Osama.
Yet now he's trying to act like he's the hero of the day... As if people are going to magically forget his past... that OBAMA attempted to give foreign-born TERRORISTS US Constitutional rights.
If Obama had gotten his way on THAT one, we would have had to listen to terrorists explain why they thought we deserved the attack on 911.
So don't give me any crap about him doing a good job.
What he has done is blame bush 247 and attempted to play the popularity game for his own personal gain.

There is a lot of hostility towards Obama in my state. I can think of only one person here that likes him, and the rest extremely dislike him. I don't think everything bad is to be blamed solely on Obama though, but sadly he is the easiest person to point a finger at. I think the whole American congress is just one greedy sack of shit.
I think a deep resentment towards the American government will be one of the themes of this era.
The NSA will probably catch wind of this post since I used Obama and hate in close proximity. They will probably flag me or something and start monitoring my emails now -_-
