    I usually hug a cushion. I simply need to hug something when I sleep. Otherwise, I can't.

    I have a body pillow I got from Target one time, a long 4ft Joe Boxer one, it was cute and I would wrap my left leg around it cause I always sleep on my right side and then squish it, but i always wake up with it half on the floor and the dogs using the rest of it at the foot of the bed and I'm curled up under the window..wtf?

    I sleep with a picture of the man I love. He is a movie star that died ten years ago and since I can't have him I have a framed picture of him. It's stupid I know but it's sort like he's there with me even though he's not.
    I even talk to him and tell him I love him even though he'll never hear me say it. Sometimes I hold on the picture of him while I sleep but most of the time it lies next to me on my pillow. I sound like I need to be committed to an asylum but I don't care. I love him so much and it's the only way I can know him.

    Don't really have to, but I like hugging teddy bear. I've been sleeping with it since I was three! I'm surprised that I can actually get by without it, but I just choose to sleep with it anyway, since I don't have a significant other...yet. :)

      I still hug my large teddy bear. And I've had it since I was a baby. If I'm at a friend's house or my teddy bear is in the washer, I hug the pillow. Sometimes I have an extra pillow just to hug........I'm so single! If I wasn't single, I would be hugging my partner. Yeah, I think the pillow and the teddy bear really symbolizes my significant other and "comfort" is an excuse for me -__-u

    I don't HAVE to hold something, but when I feel like it, I hug my pillow. Never tried spooning someone else before, as I don't really like being spooned myself.

    If I'm sad I hold onto a pillow or something, but most of the time I'm not sad so I don't have to hold anything.
