Do you have the same religious beliefs as your parents?

My entire family, without exception, is Christian. I am literally the first member of my family to question anything religious. It's a shame because I fear what my family would think of me not believing in god; so far only my mom knows and she accepts it and actually agrees with what I've said, too. *sigh*

All of us are atheists.

I'm getting baptized Sunday and I have to find a way to tell them so I can go over to my friend's house Saturday to get baptized the next day. My parents are more Atheists, I think. They don't speak of it, but they don't believe in the God/gods stuff

Nope, my father is agnostic and my mother is catholic.. and I am Christian.. Lovely mix right there, huh? lol

Nope, my mother is a Methodist and my father is private about his beliefs but all evidence would point to him being a Satanist.

I used to as a kid. Was raised Catholic. Now I'm an Atheist.

Raised catholic but i think even my mom is an athiest too (im a buddhits but i dont believe in karma or rebirth and technically im athiest)

My mom would be considered an agnostic. My dad is "spirtual but not religious", beleving in forces such as luck and karma but no organized religions. Im a pure scientific atheist.

My mom is catholic, and my dad is extremely apathetic towards religion. I follow my dad in that area.

My parents are agnostic, just to be polite atheists, they are also past catholics, like when they were in grade school, so yeah, we mesh.

more or less: I think my father is agnostic or atheist like me. It's not a topic that came up much. With my mom it's more complicated. She's not a member of an organized religion, but she has some kind of belief in a benevolent higher being that she prays to and she's fascinated by New Age stuff.
