Do you have the best international neighbours?

Define a neighbour as a country you can draw a direct line to from a part of your country, without any other countries being in the way (i.e. Egypt and Algeria are not neighbours because there is always a bit of Malta, Libya, Niger, Tunisia or Chad in between them, but Australia and Argentina are neighbours because you can draw an uninterrupted line).

Do you have the best neighbours?

Where I live, we have:

Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, French Guiana, Suriname, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, most of the Caribbean, United States, Canada, Ireland, Greenland, Iceland, Jan Mayen, The Faroes, and Svalbard.

Can anyone beat that?

    We have Russia, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Germany, and probably Lithuania.

      I'd say you have pretty great neighbours. You also come from one of my favourite countries of all.

    Let me see, Belgium and Germany are definately neighbours. Then across the sea you can draw lines to the UK, Norway and I guess Denmark too. That's about it.

    Unless you count the kingdom of the Netherlands, wich of course includes the Netherlands but also the Antilles, Aruba, Curacao and Saint Martin. From those islands you can draw lines to just about any country in the Caribbean (wich are a whole lot).

    Pakistan, china, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.. also Bangladesh. i say we have pretty shitty neighbors, except for sri Lanka.

    When I read the title I was thinking about community neighbors. Most of them are from Utah, which is kind of like another country. But they're rad. I love my neighbors.
