My housemate works in our local Woolworths and for the last 4 weeks she's had to listen to fucking christmas carols over and over an over again.

One customer she was serving said to her brightly when the refrain of "Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer" came over the sound system .."Doesn't this make you want to sing along?" My friend replied "No it makes me want to throw myself bodily through the plate glass window"

I just find it to be overkill and highly commercialized. It's like no, I really don't need to hear your rendition of Frosty, especially when it's been done by every major recording artist...

Does "Christmas time is here" by Vince Guaraldi Trio count? The instrumental version. Epitomizes the season for me.

Otherwise "It's beginning to look a lot like christmas" by Michael Buble. Though mainly cause I can rarely resist singing along to it.
