I hate it when someone around me is on the phone and they try to make me talk to whoever they are talking to! It doesn't matter WHO they are talking to either, whether I know or like the person, whether it's family, or anything, I don't want to be handed a phone and told to talk to someone! Even just to say hi! It's sooooo annoying!

When he's on the phone with me, my friend often says, "here... talk to my new girlfriend for a bit", and I don't even have a choice to say no because I'm on the other end of the line and he's already passed the phone over to her. Then he gets all jealous when I start getting along with her better than he's been doing.
Simple solution - stop making me speak to your girlfriend!
Even if its a girl I still get pissed im not gay or anything I just cant stand talking on the phone to anyone relatives included
Helloooo all....Cool post..I hate when people call me to wish me a "Happy day of Birthness"..I feel so akward and I seriously do not wish to speak to anyone when they call..I have to bare it out of niceness and whatever..But putting on the gleeful voice and whatnot..Bleh! I feel bad sometimes for not wanting to welcome their wishes..But still..Bleh!
Oh I hate that crap! If I want to talk to someone, I'll call them myself. I hate being forced to talk to people.
I hate it, and I hate it when you call to talk with a friend/relative and they put their kids on to talk to you instead.
Don't know about anyone else here, but if I call for a reason, don't derail me by sticking your kid on the phone to keep said kid occupied while you multitask and take up my time!
I really hate it when I just want to be alone or I don't feel like talking. I REALLY hate it when it's my " forced upon me best friend". I seriously hate it when it's her! She's so freaking annoying. If I don't answer she calls me 13 more times and then she quits. Lonely much, hm?
Yeah, I usually do. It makes me feel awkward, because I'm not sure what to say usually, even if it is family I know.
i dont like to be forced to do anything. which is why i said no when you tried to pass the phone to me.
i just start talking like i was kidnapped and forced to talk on the phone! it freaks people out

I'm pretty friendly (in real life), so I'll talk to just about anyone and not mind it one bit.
I love talking to bill collectors and telemarketers. That's fun. I have one that calls every few days, I'm wearing her down. It's like as soon as I get on the phone with her, I get all kinds of clever. I like to think that they are definitely recording my calls for "training purposes", I'm not making this lady's job easy. Entertaining maybe, but not easy or profitable.
She keeps asking me for references, I'm going to tell her that unfortunately my whole family died in a gas oven explosion on Thanksgiving and I was the only one spared thanks to my tardyness. If she asks for friends to use as a reference, I'll just inform her that I'm a one-man wolf pack.
I realy hate that, every time my husband is on the phone with someone i signal him not to ask them if they want to talk to me, and he asks them if they want to talk to me anyway. then he hands me the phone forcing me to talk
