No but I feel terrible sometimes. Like yesterday when I read about the guy in florida...and the sinkhole.

    I don't grieve when it's somebody I know let alone a stranger, I just don't care.

No, I don't concern myself with people outside of my circle.

Depends on the strangers. The thing in Newtown made me sad.

It depends. I almost cried when I saw pictures of the Newtown victims; they were so young and had so much life ahead. I find it sad if anyone dies before their time, especially if they're killed or commit suicide due to being mistreated so much. I wouldn't feel sad if someone I don't like died though. Like Kate Nash for example. I don't want her to die, I just wouldn't be sad. If it was a famous person whose work has touched me I would cry though...my mom basically said it's unreasonable but she doesn't understand.

I don't cry, but I'm like "aww..." because I see their face. But once I cried, a few days ago actually.
On Yahoo! news, it showed a picture of a small boy and he was bullied, then he died. You might know about this, and it was really really sad for me :'(

Not usually. I've learned that Its better for my health not to get emotional over events that I have nothing to do with. If I did, I'd be much more depressed and "agitated" then I already am.

The only deaths I've ever grieved have been dogs. The amount of unnecessary death in the world makes me sad and angry, but that's a general feeling not a response to any individual deaths. I stop short of grief, anyway. Grief is a sensation of having to deal with pain caused by the death of someone you dearly loved, and I don't think I can truly feel that for a stranger in the same way that I can't truly love a stranger.

I don't grieve, but sometimes I feel some remorse or pity for the deceased.

I grieved for weeks after Newtown, and really didn't snap out of it until Christmas. I had to for the sake of my family.

No but I will be respectful of those who have died. As you should for all that have died.

The thought is disturbing, but I'm scared that I won't grieve when my first family member dies. Then again, I don't really like a lot of them.

I don't grieve, exactly, but there have been a few famous people whose deaths I've felt moved by. Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Harold Pinter, Johnny Cash etc. They're all strangers to me but the I've felt an emotional connection with their work, and vicariously an emotional attachment to them.

I pray for them, but if I was to grieve, it would be because someone was taken from my life and I would never see them again. With strangers, there is a bit of sadness for what might have been, but since I did not know them personally and there was no attachment at all, it's near impossible for me to grieve for them, as I am now.

All the time. I'm moved to tears. It's when I read/hear about their life and the good that was in them that I get mournful and full of sorrow.
