It's fine to delete troll comments, but lately I've noticed that OP's have been deleting comments that are actually helpful. Why do they delete them? Is it because it's what they don't want to hear? Do you find it annoying when the OP deletes your comments?

Most people who ask questions here don't want advices. They don't want the truth. All they want is for people to agree with them and validate their position. That's why most posts have a rhetorical flow attached to them. These potheads want to be reassured, not corrected. They can't stand criticism and when they receive it, they lose their shit and delete comments they deem as bothersome to their fragile egos.
Its because people, on the internet and in real life, do not want honest advice. They want everybody to agree with them and tell them that they're right, or they don't want to hear it at all.
I know a girl like this, who's actually like this in real life. She's constantly asking everyone advice, and she's come to me more than a couple times for advice. One example would be about her boyfriend. She's 22, and she's dating a 35 year old man. Now I'm not one to judge, but she let's him walk allover her.
She's come crying to me on many occasions about how badly he treats her and asking if she should leave him or stay. Ofcourse, I told her to kick his ass to the curb, to which she replied its not that easy, I don't understand and I should stay out of her life.
This is just how people are. They don't want the truth, they don't want advice, they want their ego stroked.
When people are like that I just tell them to stop coming to me with their problems if they can't ever do anything I advice them to.
Nothing irks me more than people who puts up with shitty girlfriends/boyfriends and then just whine and whine about it without ever doing something to change it.
Not really. I just brush it off, move on to the next post, and let them think they've won.
my sexual comments are on topic and semi-appropriate usually get deleted just bcuz people tend to be prude bitches
Yeah, because I would rather the OP actually join the conversation and say why he didn't like the comment rather than just delete the post.
I've posted 14 threads on here, I haven't deleted a single comment. I find it more satisfying to tell people off or simply downvote them.
