Do you feel trapped by geography?

I feel trapped by geography and its the source of my depression. I live in a shitty country in Africa, It's hard to carry on day after day because I want more than this, so much more. Anyone feel this way too?

I feel like only a couple people are taking this question as serious as OP would want them to.

I feel more trapped by lack of money... Geography in itself is freeing. I think.

I live in a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean and sometimes I feel trapped but most often I'm thankful of the chance of living here. It's true that there's not musch career prospect but life is simply great here. I have voted yes because sometimes I get this feeling too.

I understand that it may be difficult at times. Try to make the best of what you have.

Ehh, Greyhound and Amtrak suck, but they do get you places. I feel trapped by a few things, but geography isn't one of them. The US is big enough that there's always a new corner of the country to explore!

If you're looking to move somewhere else, OP, I'd get studying. Find a country that is looking for a specific skill set and get that skill set. That makes the whole immigration/citizenship process go much easier.

    • Already have a business degree and apparently most countries want people with nursing/social work degrees/qualifications. I don't have any money to start studying something else and to be honest I feel disheartened would not be able to give the studying my all.

Not really, but I can imagine border crossing may not be as easy for some people as it is for me. Do you have any options for travel?
