Do you feel tired at work, but feel energetic after?

I know this sounds weird but when I'm at work I usually feel really sluggish and tired, but after work I suddenly feel energetic and high-spirited. I don't like my job and I don't look forward to going to work on workdays, but after work I like to enjoy and go out. I guess my level of enthusiasm has alot to do with it. How about you guys?

I'm the same way too. 62
For me it's actually vice-versa. 7

  • It depends, I'm always in a better mood when I drink my coffee in the morning... and my 3 shots of Tequila.

    I've felt that way before.

I can remember getting sleepy around lunch time, or early afternoon... only to finally pick back up once I was free.

i think it's a combination of energy cycles and mental perception.

    - energy cycles because your body *does* go through periods of more and less energy throughout the day.

    - psychological because... hey you're off work, mentally that often means "fun time" so it can perk you back up.

    =)

Ya, when I really don't want to go to work, I drag. When I'm bored or under-stimulated mentally, I feel tired.

I'm kind of the same way. I don't hate my job but I feel I don't need to be there for so many hours. When I'm out I want to do some other stuff but being there really drains my motivation

"Work" sucks the life out of people because most of the time, people are forced to perform some task that "serves" the interests of others but is life-sucking and boring otherwise. It's why everyone hates their jobs, dontcha know!

I think the technical term for this phenomenon is LIFE.

    EVERYBODY'S LIFE.
