Do you feel that the birth order in your family should be different ?

I'm the eldest and my mum always said she wished I'd have been the youngest and that she'd spent more time with me because she thought I got pushed to one side and isolated at 16 months when my sister was born. Then even more so when my brother came along.

But hey, this lack of attention did me no harm. It's not like I was so starved of attention that I grew up and then sought it from random strangers on a website. Oh wait, actually that IS me. :)

I'm the youngest but I was the first one to get into a relationship, I was the first to get a job, I was the first to do stuff without my mom, I was the only one to make it known to my mom she was unfair, I was the first to move out, and I was the first to really grow up. My brother is 4 years older than me and like I've mentioned in other posts, my sister is 1 year older. Although I have always looked up to my brother, he took years to get his life moving after highschool. He didn't grow up until he got a gf early last year at the age of 22.

I feel like my parents have always dropped more responsibility on me because they just gave up. They already raised 2 kids, why bother with the last. So I've had to do most everything on my own.

Not really, if I wasn't the oldest I probably wouldn't have such a wonderfully Ed Gein/Norman Bates-ish relationship with my mother.

I think i'm in the right place but my brother should have born 8 years earlier than he did so we'd both be at a more close age and i could teach him stuff and be a good older bro .

But on the moment i'm like almost 17 and he is 7 so i cant really teach him some shit that is about to go down in his teenager times cause he would never really understand .

I'm more responsible than my sister. And she's lucky because my parents helped buy her first car. I mean Im lucky too because they have given me one of their cars since my mom has a company car, but its not MINE. It's in my moms name, they just let me use it. But my sister asked my dad to co sign a car loan for her, and shes so irresponsible she messed up my dad's credit and the bank towed the car away. She's dating a loser boyfriend who does/sells drugs, and gambles all the time. She lives in a shitty neighborhood. I moved down the street and have a more stable relationship than she does. And I always pay people back and on time when borrowing money.

And my parents can never help me cosign for anything because she messed it up for me.

How odd I've never ever wondered something like this before. Things happened as they were meant to. All of my siblings were born in the correct order.
