Do you join in but feel your presence isn't felt as much as you would like and that people here don't really notice you?
It's just a site. I'm somewhat well known on here. You have to be here for quite a while to be a known user.
It also seems to change based on how the site changes and users come and go
Not necessarily, pastor_of_muppets wasnt here long and was well known but he seems to have gone. Its who says funny and interesting things.
Reply to people. Almost everyone who comes here regularly reads their notifications, and a lot of us respond to them. You can have a good conversation that way. There are a lot of characters here you won't be likely to meet in real life, and most of them comment here because they're happy to talk about themselves and give their opinions. They want to be talked to! Remembrance comes from those interactions.
Don't be afraid to break the rules. Not the actual community guidelines of IIN (those are important), but the implied rules of posting here. Express yourself. Develop a style.
I'm well known more some times than others. It really does depend on how often you contirbute and if you're making genuine contributions to the site. If there's one thing I realize about this place, it's that just about everyone thinks they're a lot less known than they actually are.
I'd really like to emphasize this- If you contribute to this site regularly, you are certainly more recognized than you realize. You can all rest assured.
I was a pretty well-known user for a bit before... (I even had my own "fan" posts! ...Nah, just kidding. They only mentioned me.)
But, now I think I'm starting to be isolated from IIN (...Am I moving on with life?!). I know a lot of people have plans for leaving this place soon, but I feel like I'm the only one who loves this site and never wants to leave *clings on to IIN for dear life*!
Plus, I love this site because it doesn't JUDGE MY OPINIONS. *glares at Nintendo* And I feel pretty free here, too!

I'm that little maverick you get in a cup of fries. Right at the bottom but damn delicious when you munch on it.
I think everybody here just wants to feel accepted and like they are part of a group.
So people would probably all wish to be more well known here.
I have no idea, since I first used iin I assumed no one knew who I was and never read my contributions for pretty much 2 years I've gone from thinking, no one probably knows who I am, to maybe they do, to I don't even care if they do or not back to no one knows or cares, to maybe I'm hated, then to I think I'm a fairly well known user then rotating between all choices
I'd like to say I couldn't give a fuck, but I've got to admit that a part of me actually does, and I've always been really bad at judging stuff like this
I would honestly perfer if the users on here that do know me understood me better.

Well, I did talk about a planet that might be out there but it didn't go so well. I know I was a raging brat back then. I guess I just had a incredibly short temper and I didn't know how to manage it properly. But in real life, I'm not actually that way. I don't go about yelling at random people and telling them they're horrible for having kids.
I'm actually quite introverted and just want to be left alone but if you spoke to me, I would say hello. But I guess that if you mess up with strangers even once, their image of you is forever tainted. It's a shame, you know?

Honestly? I think I'm too boring to be well known, but that's fine with me. I make some quips here and there, offer advice when the mood strikes and I'm also adept at starting fights.
I'm probably not well known here. I've been on here more recently. If people here notice me, great. If not, it's not a big deal to me how well I'm known over an internet site. I enjoy expressing my opinions on here. Hopefully, it helps somebody.
I wish I was more known as to transfigure into last standing Galapagos turtiouse at the zoo. Just temporary of course.
