Do you feel like you have a personality disorder?

A lot of times I believe I have some kind of mental disorder. Either way it all stems from depression. And first, I would have to get checked out to see it I have that as well. But I'm almost positive I do.

I have been told by others that I have one. When I was a child I went to this test where I had to answer questions, for example "what is your favorite type of music" and "are you constantly bored", I remember lying through the questions.

Just three years ago (I was 15-16) I went to the doctors for something that wasn't about having a personality dissorder (my mother was with me at the time) and my mother started talking about me and the doctor said "I can see that he has quite a few traits of personality dissorders" and went on to say that he wanted me to come back next week about the matter (I didn't go) and then he went on to say "Don't worry, we won't send you off to a clinic straight away" which was quite wierd because of the part where he said "straight away" so obviously I didn't go, I don't feel the need to be put in a clinic for being me.

I don't think I have a personality dissorder but others have said that they believe I do, I don't think it matters because I will still just be me only with a few more labels.

Ofcourse I do realize the bad parts of being diagnosed with personality dissorders so I will have and continue to try not to get diagnosed with any (I might not have any) because it would effect my later on life when I pln to get a proper job.

I'm sure SOMETHING is F*cked up there in my mind...

Darlings, there's nothing more bland than somebody who ISN'T emotionally or psychologically imperfect. I'm a basket-case & I'd not have it any other way.

I have dissociative identity disorder.

Funnily enough I was researching narcisstic personalities on the internet last night and loads of free online personality tests came up. So, yes, I did them - and I'm surprised to find I'm perfectly normal.

I'm often times worried that I have schizophrenia. I know that my biological father was whacked out in the head, as well as my grandfather, great-grandfather, and even great-grandmother on my mother's side - they were all nuts... like seriously psychopathic people. I'm just worried that stuff like that will catch up with me one day. I'm nothing like them, but God only knows what's running through my DNA.

i often wonder do i have a mental disorder. I go to counselling but they'd never know because I only tell the half truth there. I know I have social anxiety but sometimes i really think there's something more.
