Do you ever wonder if you actually know any of the people on iin?

Have you ever thought what if the person i'm talking to over comments etc is somebody you know like a friend, but yet you have no idea. I know nobody would be able to determine who I am purely through my username and comments.

Yes all the time 35
Never 23
I have done but not often 35
I didn't even think about this 25
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I often wish I knew some of the people on here in real life. I often wonder what they look like, how old they are, what they do for a living etc. I become quite curious...

I dont know who it was, but there was a story someone wrote that seemed like it was about me.

In two weeks, I'll have been reading the site for a year. I notice people (even the people who don't think I notice them). It's strange how it happened but I think people on this site have become kind of acquaintances. Occasionally they remind me of friends I have in the real world. Sometimes I wish some of them actually were my friends out in the real world.

    • The familiarity and sense of acquaintance is a bit of a downside for me. I came here to express myself openly and without inhibitions. But now I feel pressure to be helpful and restrained.

I can see that. I remember your knoshann-chasing phase and also your naked profile picture phase (you have a body that's definitely built for fun, by the way. I didn't say anything publicly but I inwardly thought "wow, she's yummy").

Once upon a time, I scandalised an online environment by being overt in the extreme with a girl who dared me to (to a degree I'm not willing to admit in public). It was a lot of fun and I'm glad we did it. You remind me of her and I hope you get what you need too, wherever that may be.

That was my "I didn't think anybody actually read the profiles and you can't tell anything from an artistic rendering" phase.

Knoshann was an interesting flirtation and another person that abandoned me before a truly meaningful yet trashy relationship could materialize.

You really thought I looked yummy?

You have a truly fantastic body and you're very pretty. I know you already know this and just wanted to know that someone else thinks so too. But, nevertheless, yeah - yummy was my typically understated way of putting it.

            • Well, I'm blushing. I know that you know that I know that. You know?

Although I hope you don't think me conceited. I like men to admire my body and usually not go overboard about it. But sometimes I do. Sometimes I like to let Carolann the whore come out. I know it's odd.

Remember that familiarity thing? Now I feel uncomfortable using that W word here. I also had a whole section I typed about me, lack of clothing, men, and what I do with men that call me yummy.

I'm always in such a sewn-up, suffocating work environment that sometimes I just want to shed my clothes and be seen without my business armour. Just be me and give myself without inhibition.

This is all a subject for another session with my therapist!

              Thanks for thinking me yummy.

  • Yes! There are some people here that have the same style of writing or same opinions as student I go to school with. I wouldn't want to find out if it's them or not..

  • Sometimes when I want to really bare my soul about someone I know, I don't at the last second because I can be really descriptive and if the person read it, they'd pretty much know it was about them lol.

Other than the person who introduced me to this website, I'm quite sure that almost none of my friends would have ever heard of this website - The person who introduced this website is pretty isolated from the people I usually talk to.

I think about that all the time. But I highly doubt it at the same time. But I think it would be kinda funny.

I like friends. Those in the real world, my head, and in cyberspace. Some of you bring me much amusement :-)

  • Big world and this is a relatively small group. Be very unlikely if we knew any of them. Also, some of aren't even people.

I'm just an errant program on a supercomputer, looking for meaning.

I'm fairly certain I don't know any of the regular users, but sometimes some of the questions that come up seem like they could be from someone I know-although I doubt that too, just because most stuff ends up being "normal"-so that would mean common occurence.

I can definitely see myself becoming friends with the users on here, but not necessarily knowing them in "real life".
