I hate having to wait for my stories to be reviewed before they ever post. Do you?

It's difficult to say because none of us know what gets rejected. It could be absolutely dreadful stuff that shouldn't be in the public domain. It could even be illegal. As a site owner, I wouldn't want to be held responsible for someone else's views.
But then again, we can reply openly and express the same opinions so maybe posts don't need to be moderated in advance and can just be removed if enough people have a problem with them.
I think that the mods should reject more, because some of the stories here are clearly trolls. I am more than happy to wait a day or so if it means that a lot of the crap gets filtered out.
But the troll stories are some of the most hilarious things I've ever read! Maybe they could sort out the stories better so if you don't WANT to read troll stories, you don't have to. Well, you don't have to anyway, but...yeah :-P

When it seems like they're letting a lot of bullshit stories come through, I don't come to the site as often.
None of the questions are so important that waiting a day or two for it to be moderated should be bothersome. Only the self-absorbed would be so impatient.
And shit stories like "i em bor3d, idk y i wrothe dis but i deed" get approved.
I wouldn't mind aslong as it wasn't fake, troll and stupid teenage stories that were always being approved while the truthful stories trying to be told by adults that are actually looking for an answer get their stories rejected.
As long as they are legitimate questions and not trolls and stupid he said she said drama bs.

but this is the whole point. people got secrets.
I think censorship is wrong because,if the only words a person can use happen to be the forbidden ones,it is like shutting him up forever. I knew a guy who's way to talk and political and philosophical ideas were not considered appropriate by most people.He ended up getting thrown in a madhouse on a ton of psychiatric medications,where they tried their best to reducate him.But the failed.He kept just misbehaving and talking about his subversive ideas,so they lobotomized him. Died in the same madhouse a few years later,drooling,pissing and shitting all iver himself,not able to even feed on his own,and almost completely mute.But not kicking and screaming and cursing at his capturers and torturers. It is a good story to understand the importance of free speech,and self determination.
For legal purposes yes, they shouldn't be allowed on here. But sometimes people really need help and their stories don't get moderated. It's annoying at that point
They reject porn/slangs/racist comments/ whatevs, no they don't, first of all, look at the guy who commented first, they usually take down bad comments, people report cause they're so afraid of reality, which is my point, IsItNormal, which with a name like that should not be judgemental...but more compassionate to some who may be feeling weird, lost, alone ect, I've noticed a lot of young adults and some pranky ones, and yet they have to mod primarily I think because of the age groups that DO frequent these pages looking for anwswers to....whatever!
