Do you ever tell your friends if you are jealous?

    I get jealous, but I keep everything light by telling them I'm jealous of them in a joking way. And they laugh, and everybody's happy.

    Only to be nice. Like if they're going on holiday somewhere amazing, I might say, "I'm so jealous" because it makes them feel good.

    Like Dapple said I only do it to make them feel good, but I never say it when I'm being serious.

        It's rather awkward to tell a friend that you're jealous of them, and be dead serious about it... Actually, it's quite awkward to tell anyone about your true feelings, unless you've really opened up to them, and feel comfortable having a heart to heart conversation with each other.

          but if you don't tell a friend you're jealous, you're gonna have a bad time yourself. maybe if you tell them they're gonna try to help you. Does that make sense? :s

            Pretty much was likesototallyomg said. It is pretty awkward. I don't think I'm going to have a bad time if I don't tell them that I'm jealous. Jealousy isn't something that I think words can fix.

    Just to add to my previous comment, I don't mean jelous in a "Omg you got a great a great job, I hate you!" Kind of way. I meant in a, she got a new boyfriend and never hangs out with me anymore kind of way.

    I do, I'm very honest with my feelings. But the usual reaction is that I'm a weirdo. People seems to think that jelousy is such an abnormal thing. People get jelous. Those are the facts people. So yes, I do.

    What would the point being in telling your friends that you're jealous of them over something? It wouldn't do anything- depending on who the friend is, not only would it be awkward to be around them for a long time, but it would also probably be tense being around them.
