Do you ever ponder what's morally right vs what's more ideal?

  • Yes, and I believe most people do to some extent - it's human nature to weigh our options.

Even people who believe they always go the "moral" route are still making those decisions and, occasionally (or often), choose what they consider is most convenient but dub it a moral choice. It's how people deal with their cognitive dissonances and maintain their positive self-image.

  • Morally right?

That alone is the great joke played upon you all.

My morality generally has these two lining up fairly similarly. My imagination may just be failing me at the moment but what situations are you thinking of exactly?

With almost everything I do I can't help but consider what is wrong or right, even if it's something very minor. I do what I believe to be the "right thing" most of the time, and I get a strong feeling of guilt if I don't.

Hmm, do you mean like people doing the wrong thing, just because it's better or more convenient for them? Yeah, it is something I think about. Quite a lot actually. It's an interesting thing, although sometimes it makes me sad what some people will do without even thinking about the moral implications. Although actually, I guess it's worse if they have thought about the moral implications and yet still go ahead and do the "wrong" thing anyway.
