Whenever I see those year-long posts that haven't had any comments for months, I don't comment on them because it feels weird and useless, but then I wish people would still comment in the polls I made, even though nobody has commented on them for quite a while. So, what do you do when you stumble upon an old post...?

nah i dont comment on old posts. chances are the people who make those posts dont come on here anymore so its just a waste of time.
I don't comment on old post. Everything that can be said has already been said, so I see no point in including my opinion on the matter because usually someone has already said what I was thinking.
I used to a lot before I realized that I could check the dates on the posts.
Now I don't.
Not much of a point doing so. The person that made it is gone, and not many people even look at them.
i think you can. especially if all the other comments are dumb and no one even thinks about giving a more subtle opinion. thats my opinion lol
