Do you drink the milk that's leftover from eating cereal?

Alot of people I know like to drink the leftover milk after consuming all the cereal in their breakfast bowl, but I don't like it at all.

I know I'm wasting food, but after eating all the cereal and with the milk being leftover, I just pour it down the sink. For some reason I just find the texture/taste of the sugary milk really disgusting.

    If you knew how much work, for how little pay, went into getting that milk, you might feel guilty about throwing it away! I grew up on a farm, so any time any perfectly good food gets thrown out, it hurts me inside!

      it does not matter, the milk has been paid for, he can pour it over him self if he wanted, the farmer aint losing out lmao

        You totally miss the point. It's about waste and being so disconnected from where your food comes from and what it takes to make your food.

          i agree.
          i work at a cafe and we throw lots of food away at the end of the day, and i just think why cant we give this to a soup kitchen or some other poor place, they would be so happy but instead we throw it away its sucks.

    Cereal milk is the best!!! I love milk in general, but the cereal makes it taste so much better. Especially Coco Puffs!

    lol i LOVE milk. x) especially left over by cereal, it's sweetened and still has cereal flavor! haha i purposely drown my cereal in milk =D

    I am especially fond of the milk that is left behind when I have eaten something like Cocoa Puffs, Cocoa Krispies, Fruiti Pebbles, Froot Loops, Trix or Frosted Flakes.

    I think cereal milk is really good. I never waste mine. But I really hate to see anyone waste food. There are so many people who are going hungry these days and not enough people to help.<BR><BR>If I didn't like milk, I would at least give it to my cat before wasting it. I'd feel better, knowing it went into a hungry belly instead of down the drain.<BR><BR>Wasting food really makes me mad. I've seen people dump their entire lunch tray piled full of stuff after buying it and taking one bite. I've also seen people on the street with those little cardboard signs that say 'Will work for food.' <BR><BR>It's heartbreaking. People go out to fast food places, buy a complete meal, eat two bites and throw it away.<BR><BR>I'm sorry. I just feel really strongly about this.

    Yup, it tastes good in my Cookie Crisp, Fruity Pebbles, Honey Smacks, and Captain Crunch Berries...

    the taste of milk is gross to me so at least the only cereal I eat are reese puff cereal. at the end chocolate milk for me so no waste.
