I agree with you 100%.

My mother is like this too. There is not one of us who would ever go shopping with her and take an item that she has chosen off the shelf - coz it's sure to be faulty when we get home. Even she tells us to choose one that's not her choice.

She knows this too.
She once went to a psychic and asked the psychic what was this bad luck that was following her. The psychic told her that she brings all the bad luck on herself. I would agree with this as she is bitter, spiteful and hates the world. So how could she be good to be around??

Whereas my sister has been barred from the local radio stations coz if they're looking for caller 99 it will be her. She has won holidays abroad and tens of thousands of dollars, from the odd competition she enters. Strange!

Luck is a superstition and I'm not a superstitious person so I'll try to help you deconstruct your issues so that you don't chalk it up to something as ridiculous as superstition.

Your mum was just plain old wrong about your bursary. You should have used it first, then used your savings. Not all parents are geniuses though and when you live with them, they are the boss of you.

She was trying to be nice by treating you to a facial, but if the esthetician was hurting you, you should have told her to stop. That's your bad for not enforcing your own limits with strangers.

A mosquito probably gave you dengue fever, not your mum. And again, when you live with your parents, they are the boss of you and if they want you to go on a trip with them, then you're going. This has nothing to do with luck.

She just wants you to try new things, there is nothing wrong with that. Stop acting so ungrateful. Try it, creams and lotions will not kill you to try a bit.

You didn't get the job that took a friend along to your interview for. Gee, that's not really a surprise. Most employers would see a job applicant who brings along a friend to an interview as not having the maturity it takes to hold down a job. Next time, if you want to actually get the job your applying for, leave your buddies at home.

You are a fool for lending your textbook out a week before an exam. If you want to succeed, then you have to put your own needs first and not your buddy's. If your buddy doesn't have a text, that's their problem - don't make it yours too.

So, the crappy things that are happening in your life have everything to do with your inability to take responsibility for yourself (like an adult would) and nothing to do with "bad luck" or being "jinxed"

im not joking or kidding with you, in many cultures they know about the evil eye that whenever a person is extremley jealous of another that something all the sudden bad happens to them.

for example if ur jealous of a person driving an awsome car the BAM car accident.

as for ur situation as u notice its always about having skin problems all the sudden

so she could be jealous of you being young and having nice skin. and also since ur astudying aiming for a better job.

its abvious religious prayers work better and i've seen it and also the " Blue Eye " that protects from the " evil eye " we pray ipon and attatch it to the baby so it won't get jinxed.

ofcourse besides prayers in some cultures they have these gem stones

" the tiger's eye " gemstone actually bounced of their evil eye off of me lol

let me tell u a story about me when i was sooo depressed that i got pissed and said enough i'll change myself !

i wore black pants and a cool black shirt with silver designs and with a white jacket , i hat this diamond sparkle necklace and finally the eyeliner make up.

my cousins who came for visit said my sister looked jealous of me , my sister always gets jelaous about everything, so i said the protection prayer and carried my ' tiger's eye stone ' with me and lol at the mall while she was walking by she saw this tiny line of small puddle she wanted to jump over it but in the most awkward way she did'nt just fall accidently but she actually flew ! as if she was lift up and collapsed on her back , me and my cousins roare in laughter i emidiatly knew the prayer and stone protected me

u c the tiger's eye stone protects u by placing a shield and actually bounces off towards them lol whereas blue eyes just stops and blocks.

the romans carried it with them during war for protection aswell.

so lol she was fallen ... one down ... others to go ... lol one counsin fell down aswell during a bowling ball lol and she fell down lol i guess its my black pants im wearing is better than hers even the eyeliner makeup while the other one she wore white jacket i am wearing one aswell but well designed... can u imagine that not just a tiny bet or a circle mess of ketchup sauce was on her arm jacket , but actually a loooong line so i helped her clean it up aswell.... and finally the last one , while we were at home... the new necklace she bought... just fell from her hands and collapsed on the floor and broken....

so yeah everytime i go out in the car and say the protection and saftey prayers even when dressing u before entering a party or somewhere.

we do get warned from some pple like they tell us " u c that house over " or " hey , u know that person over there before getting in or meeting remember to say the prayers becuase they get extremely jealous evil eye "

so yeah watch out ok .

4) Depends on where you went, and it just seems like a coincidence
5) Then tell your mother and don't use the products no matter how much she want you too, not luck, you might just have sensitive skin or something

7) That's just coincidence and your friend's fault

Okay, so some of the coincidences to can choose to believe as bad luck, but I don't think any specific person could cause bad luck, its just a matter a of actions and coincidences.

Quite possible. I think I bring people bad luck so I'm sure other people can too.

But above are just a few examples. There are too many to list out. With both of them, bad things always happen but with another friend, I'll win poker or other games if she's standing beside me. The funny thing is when she left and that 'unlucky friend' came to sit beside me, I start losing. There are too many coincidences which makes me believe in jinxes and lucky stars :/
