I don't believe in love at first sight, but I believe in soulmates. I think you can like someone by their appearence, but you can't love someone. What's your opinion.

I don't believe in love at first sight.
It's more of a phycial attraction and can be confused with love.

but I do believe in soulmates I didn't before but my boyfriend changed my mind.

Soulmates: Yes
According to certain myths, soulmates comes from the belief that when one soul comes to earth it is split into two, each inhabiting two individual bodies and it is up to them (or up to fate if that is what you believe in) to reunite the soul and become as one again.
So when people say that they believe in soulmates and that people can have more than one... that just gets confusing.
I'm not knocking anyone's beliefs or anything, just sayin.
For me, I don't think everyone has a soulmate, but I believe that some do and if both people of the pair are lucky enough, they will find each other.
Love isn't equal to infatuation. That's what you get at first sight: INFATUATION.
I don't think it's meant to be taken literally. Love at first connection, not just sight. Eyes can be deceiving.
Love at first sight is called lust to me. As for the soulmate, I used to believe it but she crushed my heart so it's something I don't believe in anymore.

And there is no "soul", so no, I don't believe in "soul mates".
i never use to but when i met my bf everything changed. i finally found out why he wouldn't talk to me when i first met him. he said that he was scared he'd really like me if he talked to me and that he'd want to be with me.
You can't literally fall in love with someone at first sight, but you can know pretty quickly whether you think it'll be love. Also, if soulmates exist, I believe that there's more than one for each person. There's more than one possible "The One," in other words.
