soulmates is over used, but i believe that there is a kind of love out there that lasts through death and all tragedies, leading into the next life *if thats your cup of tea ofcourse* hence the term soulmate.

My idea is that two souls have gone through all of existence together and nothing could or would ever want to separate them. I've never really thought about it until now but maybe it doesn't only have to be two souls.
Anyway, what I've been pondering is the idea that my soulmate is out there somewhere livin' his or her's life as a human because that is the path we were set (or wanted) to take next. I get kind of imaginative sometimes and think that right before we came to be our human selves we looked at each other and said "see ya on the other side".
Then I start to wonder though...what if in this life we wanted a challenge? Something different? What if we agreed not to find each other this time?
Am I taking some sort of reincarnation approach to this idea? Yes, yes I am.
Nope, am not a believer in soulmates. I think out of the 6.8 billion people on this planet, if i wanted someone, I'm sure there is more than one person I am compatible with and can be happy with--and I believe it is all left up to chance. Granted, I wouldn't be with more than one person at a time.
yeah i do believe in soul mates but it takes time to look for them & they usually come to you..Well sometimes if people are desperate & looking 2 hard you'll never really find your true love so calm down and let it come 2 you.
Sometimes when we are in love we immediately think that we've found our soulmate but that's not quite true because every man and woman have drawbacks and no one is perfect

I don't think they exist. The purpose that all life has is to procreate and further the species, amirite? So soulmates would make no sense.
Besides, there are 6 billion people (last time I heard) on the planet. You might actually get to know 100-300 of them.

we change form year to year from day to day.. what's perfect for us today wn't be tomorrow. life changes us and changes evreybody around us. we're dinamic benings..how can we have a suolmate when what we need is always diffent and eternally changing?
