I had something like love almost at first sight about every aspect of a girl except for her face. Though I later found out figure also (stick thin like wearing a corset, unfortunately). If only she had a face I liked.. What's the explanation of that?

I'm not sure really. It still sounds like lust, just, for her body? maby her mannerisms and body language reminded you of someone you knew? I dont know enough about you or the situation to give you an answer, the person who can best do that is yourself

No. It's pretty much impossible to love someone you know nothing about.

Lust at first sight? Sure. Extreme attraction? Definitely. Love? By definition, no.

No. I only believe in lust at first sight. Love grows over time through shared experiences.
I have noticed that 'love at first sight' doesn't occur as often with people who happen to be hideously ugly.

I fully believe in love at first sight. But that doesn't mean it will definitely work out and you will live with them happily ever after.
It happened to me once. I was completely head over heals. And as we started a relationship, my love grew stronger. Then it died due to many reasons.
I have had better relationships were I did not fall in love at first sight.

Love at 1st sight was very doable in times of old bcuz the times were different. Everybody knew their place & their role. So basically you did know the person as far as character. You only had to deal w/physicality. Times are different & ppl are not held to accountabilty. As stated by some others in theor post.......now we only have Lust @1st sight.........

The first time I saw my husband I loved him. I took my time getting to know him and we were best friends for a while before we started dating. I loved him the whole time. I loved him enough to let him go. We stayed friends and talked everyday. Eventually we got back together and married. That was 13 1/2 years ago. Love at first sight is real.
