yes i belive they are real but they arent something that i am afraid of people to try to make ghosts seem horrbily scary that have massive knifes and stuff like that but really that parts alot of rubbish a ghost is a soul that hasnt moved on yet and despite what some people may think every living thing has a soul cats dogs birs mice etc

There is no such thing as ghosts!!!! There is a spirit world with angels and demons. But, there are no souls in this world "that have not moved on". Stop being so gullible. And ONLY people have souls!

No. The reason i don't believe in ghosts is because of all the stories i hear from people that supposedly "witnessed" these things. Its always some ridiculous story like,
"I was in my kitchen at 2:00am and i saw the salt shaker move from the counter onto the table."
or
"I was walking down the stairs and i heard footsteps following me."
I mean seriously, think about it, if you were a ghost and you had the power to touch things in reality would you waste your time moving around salt shakers and just following people all day? I know if i were a ghost i'd be pushing people down the stairs and randomly punching people in the face.

u ppl are easily convinced of incredbly fantastic theories with increble lack of evidence. i need evidence to convince me of this extrtemely extraordinary claim

there was a house round near i live and she was getting torrtured by these ghosts u used to hear a baby crying up in the attic and one girl who lived in that house was trailled out of the nouse by her hair in the end they had to get a priest and zll in the house to get all o them out and they had to like open tins of beans ect so they couldnt stay there they all got in because there house was at the end of the street and the wall was open as the priest said i was there every second it was some scary stuff

I'm an atheist and I'm just not sure if there are or not, anything is possible. We as a people don't know what fully happens to somebody after they die. Something could happen with their soul or nothing could happen.......we just don't know yet

I think that ghosts are real. The reason is because so many people die everyday that there must be some souls that dont want to pass or just simply cant pass on.

I had an experience and it scared the hell out of me. I know I'm not crazy because i saw a guy on unsolved mysteries describe the identical thing that happened to him.

I live in a old mining town in the middle of know where. There are three ghosts in my bedroom. There was a new one last night...a little girl in a bonnet. The people of this time during the mineing days burried thier families on there plot of land. I also lived where the the Donner party died...ghosts there too.

i believe that everyone has a soul and sometimes when people die their soul isnt ready to pass on so thats what people mean by ghosts.

I don't believe in ghosts, though I've had to do a lot of convincing myself of that belief. Of course there are the shadows and creepy sounds that everyone is bound to hear at least once: maybe it's a ghost, maybe not. I've convinced myself that all of THAT has just been paranoia. Once though, in my closet, I sat down in front of an old shoebox of mine to see what was in it, but it kind of moved out of my reach on it's own as I stuck my hand out. >.>
I've convinced myself there was a rat even though that theory has less evidense than the ghost one. Overall, I think the existance of ghosts is up to you.

I belive ghost is in my blood my mom when she was a little girl her mom house was haunted as hell the eyes on the picture walls were moveing everything when my mom had me an when i was like 9 i saw a girl standing over mydamn bed i ran out of my damn room an got the hell out of there

Yes, I do because my friend and I were at this really old baseball filed that had a plaque that said 'In Memory Of...' (Don't remember the name) And there was this little playground and we were walking around and one of the swings was creppily moving by itself! It was moving pretty slow, and we thought it was the wind, but when we looked around, nothing else was moving and the trees were still! :S We fricking ran at 600 miles an hour back to my house and to this day, whenever we hear weird noises, we say 'OMG, that one ghost from the filed followed us!' No lie! I swear on my grave! I never did, but now I do...

I does! I think they're creepy, but it's just the fact that you kind of know they're there I guess. Nothing's ever really happened to me ghost-related, so I'm not too bugged. Just something to believe in.

Yeah I have to say i do. I've never really seen one, but I've seen shadows and things that mysteriously disappear and reappear in my old house. It really creeps me out though cause my dad built the house.

hell yueah.. i frikken saw a friken ghost!!! it was like a dark kid shadow.... i followed it and i asked if it was my cousin n seriously i looked all over n i knowwwwww! it was a ghost. i checked!

I know this is gonna sound weird but my mom and her boyfriend took me and my brother to a run down hospital from years & years & years ago! I thoght I saw something there it was really weird we were the only people there and I thought I saw a ghost.. But it could of been a trick of the eye.. I'm not sur but right after I saw it .. A bunch of horeses ran up to us...it's really weird because ther was no horses..

Yes. When my sister and her husband moved into our basement. Her husband had old war uniforms in a locker. Every night when everyone was in bed I would hear thumping banging noises sounding like sheet metal for about a second or two. Sometimes he would open the locker, and for a few nights after, the noise would stop until the ghost got "restless" and started to "want out". Scared the shit out of me. Finaly they moved out and it never happend again...they bought a house and left the uniforms in an open attack without a locker. I go their alot and sometimes we hear what sounds like foot steps coming from the attack.

i kinda think they are real kinda dont. well, because of my sudden grumpy attitudes lately, i stopped believing god will ever help em out. so i am starting to believe in them more. i didnt before because i just liked seeing people freak out over them. >:D

I really have no reason to believe that they exist, no. Of course, for various practicality, burden of proof is on the person who claims something is, not something that is not, but I really don't see any reason to believe that a consciousness is anything more than chemical reactions in the end. "life force" is pretty much a run of the mill chemical energy phenomena, we even know what molecules carry this energy. Any energy in the body at death will serve as great worm food.
