Yes!! Totally and unutterably agree. Few people ever find true happiness in this life because they never realize it's not founded in pleasure or feelings of euphoria.
It's founded in sacrifice, hard work, and making the choices no one else is willing to make. The right choices.
Not entirely. It depends how you search for happiness. If you search for happiness by getting a job and moving out of your parent's basement, then you will find it. If you search for happiness through an unreal level of self-conciousness and take yourself too seriously, then you probably won't be happy.
I should say that my comment wasn't based (specifically) on a personal experience. I'm glad I was being insightful though, and if you took something from what I said, or if it resonated with you, then that's even better. It's why I'm here.
Yes, I think it's true and I know that sometimes you can get so much into the flow of doing something worthwhile and enjoyable, that the concepts of happiness and misery seem non-existent for a while. You're fully in the moment and at one with the world. When you get that feeling of wholeness, there is nothing to search for.
Nope. Sometimes, whether or not you try to seek happiness..you can't find it either way.
