Do you think that kids under 18 years old should be allowed to use this website or not?

First of all it doesn't really matter because anybody can still make an account. And I agree, I've seen a lot of great, mature people under 18 here (or at least I presume they are) so I don't think an age limit is necessary.

Why? Because hey sometimes we talk about VERY adult topics. I for one am BLUNT when it comes to some matters.
Not all minors are mentally ready for such topics or such frank open discussion, even if they think they may be.
And of course underage egos may not be ready to deal with people telling them blunt truths... or pointing out when their letters are just attempts to justify their own bad behavior.
Immaturity is more of an attitude than an age, so no.
Although if I were Der Management, I'd be giving out bans like it was free candy :)
It's funny that the rules state you must sound like an intelligent adult when you ask a question, but some of the things I've seen on here make no sense whatsoever, I have to read them three times so it can make sense.
Yes but IIN have to protect themselves otherwise they could be sued or arrested. They know adults will put anything on this site, so legally you can't knowingly allow children to read pornographic material. Hence the age restriction. They know young people will still use it. It's just to cover themselves.
I've seen people under 18 more mature than adults on this website. Besides, many people using the app don't see all the IIN questions related to sex. Also younger people are the ones who questions if something is normal.
I don't mind if people are under 18 here, but what really fucking annoys me is those people who say things like "lol ur s0 ghay, u ediote i khan speel". Also, I just accept that it's impossible to make something only for adults (look at porn for example, 14 year olds watch it with no problem) it's the easiest thing on earth to click "Yes I'm 18 years old, now make my fucking account already".
I agree with the rule. Some of the stories are so mature that kids shouldn't be reading them.
Doesn't matter if the rule exists or not, under 18s can still read posts and sign up.
I'm 19, and I couldn't care less what age other people around here are. It doesn't matter if the "no people under 18" policy is officially in power or not because all the minors are going to lie anyway. Maybe it's some kind of legal issue that the website owner(s) had to take care of, but it's just a formality.
Age is only a number. There are mature, responsible and intelligent 15 year olds, and on the other hand immature, vulgar and moronic "adults". Besides, I think that the little message telling you not to sign up if you are under 18 is totally redundant. You even have self confessed 12 year olds on this site.
until and unless any under age is acting maturely there should be no problem... as it is really not upon your age but on you maturity...
Teenagers suck. but sometimes they give good advice. and sometimes they need it. but I just scroll past the trolls of all ages. They just don't know they're trolls yet.
Depends. Mature and dsnt tlk lke dis then yeah why not? Maybe there should be a kid zone where they can't see the innapropriate polls and stuff. Haha. Or INN should open up a website spefically for teens and tweens. Personally, I think alot of people break the rule anyways no matter what INN wants.
people can read things even without being 18, so if people over 18 gave nicer advice their would not be a ban.
its a pointless rule. there is no way they can tell how old you are when you make an accont.
Having the policy probably cuts down on the amount of stupid on the site, but it doesn't eliminate it.
I agree with having it. Sure, there are SOME teens who are ahead of the game and can contribute something worthwhile, but most of them aren't, so why open the flood-gates.
