    It's simply not a competition. There are various forms of love. You could of course say: Who would you rather sacrifice and then most people would probably value the life of their children above their spouses. But that has to do with responsibility and not so much with who you "love more".

    If you truly love someone it is not a certain amount of love. It just is what it is.

    I think it's pretty even. I love my family. However if there was a question about my daughter's best interests I would side with her.

    Since spouses can leave and no longer be a relative, but one's kids are relatives forever, I believe the commitment to one's kids is stronger.

      Blood relations are irrelevant. You don't automatically love a child because you helped create it.

            Can you actually qualify how much you love someone or put that love on a scale? I can't. So I answered as best I could.

        Yes, actually, most people, automatically love their child because they helped create it. All except the assholes of the world.
