Do women experience things like colors, sounds, touch differentl ?

I read something a while back that said that women may actually perceive the regular day to day world a little different from how men perceive it. Specifically they said that women may see colors as a bit more vibrant, they may feel sounds or touch sensations a bit more strongly than men who are seeing hearing or touching the same thing.

Of course this is a really hard things to prove. Because no one can really know both experiences and obviously whatever differences there are may be very subtle and more based in emotions

What do you think. Is it normal ?
