In my experience, the reason why I find drunks confusing, boring and a waste of energy is that most of them talk a mixture of truth and bullshit and it's just too hard work to separate the two and I just can't be bothered with them

There'll be one line of truth in that babble and finding out which line it is, is the difficult part.

    Depends who they are WITH.

Alcohol makes you lose inhibition so I personally tend to be more sincere, but only with those people I trust and actually want to open myself to.

Depends, but I think most women are more honest and most men are more braggy-to-liar (personal experience).

Well, here's my perspective from observation and experience, when people are drunk they tend to be more open with their emotions or how they are feeling than when sober. However, that doesn't mean they aren't full of shit at the same time. It's possible to be more emotional and tell BS stories at the same time as is the case when people are drunk.

you know how they say it takes away your inhibitions? THAT is what makes you more honest.

That just depends on the person. A popular saying that "the truth comes out when you're drunk" can apply, but is easily debunked, because everyone is different.

I think it exaggerates emotions. there is a basis of truth but its just out of proportion.
