Well, think about it this way: If you are all in there chatting and someone gets up and leaves, does the conversation turn to talking about that person that just left? If yes, then most likely they do it to everyone including you.
If they were who cares? Did Napoleon care what the English said about him to each other or being ridiculed openly in cartoons?
Even the most charismatic and convincing personalities will be ridiculed by small men so don't let it get to you. They only win when you pay attention to their noise bro ;)
Hide a a tape recorder in the room. When they leave, get it back and listen to what they were saying...Dont actually do that.
But it is normal to think this way. But hey, what you dont know cant hurt ya. (I dont agree with that statment, but hey, maybe you do.)
be proud your life is more interesting this is the reason they talk about you..
Happens to every person, more or less.I hate when someone is talking about me(gossiping), and I can tell that by the way that person looks at me.But I say to myself:''Fuck them! I'm the way I am and I'm proud for that!I like myslf!''Think positive.Don't worry about what people is saying. They're just too cowers to say that in your face.
I used to be well paranoid at work that people were talking about me but i've learnt the thing is pretty much everyone is two faced so they probably are talking about you but 5 minutes later they'll be bitching about someone else, don't worry about it.
Is it normal to think they're talking about you? Yes. Are they actually talking about you? Probably not. Most people, if they're going to talk smack about someone behind their back, are going to do it when that person is nowhere around, not when theyve just left the group.
Unless you and your friends are teenagers, of course. Then yes, they're probably talking about you. Because that's what teenagers do.
