Do tampons hurt?

They hurt for me, so normally I just use pads.

for me they only hurt if i'm dry.

which is why i don't use them unless i have enough flow.

and if this is your first time... don't be afraid to use a smaller size. and hey splurge a little and get one with a comfortable applicator. i mean you're already crampy so why not treat yourself

They dont hurt if u do it right but it takes practice so do it if u have time and u arent in public...

At first it hurts, not going to lie. Do not worry because it gets easier the more you use them. Practice makes perfect!

If you put them in right, they shouldn't hurt. Or you can try the slim ones, rather than the regular. I think tampons are sooo much better than pads!

Rose is right. When I first used one it hurt just a tiny bit. But when I got used to them I used them all the time. Star with a small one at first. But now I can't use pads. They r nasty. U can c and smell the blood and it feels like a diaper. U can't feel tampons unless u put it in wrong. Then it just feels uncomfortable. So u take it out and put a new

They are so much better than pads it's not funny. You'll feel so much cleaner.

You have to insert the applicator in untill it stops and then push the plunger for the tampon to be placed. If you put it in right you won't feel a thing and it doesn't hurt.

Don't be scared of them. They may feel a little funny first but not hurt. They are so much better than pads.

For me, I tried to use tampons but they didn't appeal to me, so I still use pads but as long as you insert them properly, they shouldn't hurt.

The most you'll feel is a little discomfort until you get used to them and you can buy them with applicators to help you use them.
