I can't speak for everyone but typically and for me , complete submission . I don't want this to be confused with weak character , a successful and alpha female is just great in her everyday life . The DOM in a session or D/S relationship should be constantly building her up from within or constantly reinforcing / strengthening what's already there but in their own way that works for them . I don't know how experienced you are but I am happy to hear you are taking the initiative to learn as to increase your happiness and knowledge .

A sadist is just someone who gets pleasure out of the suffering of others itself. If the other person suffers, the sadist likes it. That's all it takes to please a sadist, whether challenge or submission.
They see someone to use simply because it is easy to do whatever you want to a weak person.

you mean roleplay? A real sadist would not give a fuck and likes to crucify squirrels and burn children on the oven and would laugh at your pain. Ive heard stories of the worst things possible and people need to know what they are getting into.
there's no "real" sadist. sadists are simply people who receive sexual pleasure from inflicting pain. anyway, yes roleplay. moreover, i do think of sick shit like all sadists (your examples are good, i have mental issues) but i want to have a future that doesn't include prison. that's the reason for all sadists. they would act on their urges if they could but for now it's only consenting adults who get sexual pleasure from receiving pain, for us. we are not irrational enough to do something that stupid. again, i still love you random citizen :)
I think most people get sadistic thoughts at times, but they have a choice to ignore them or embrace them. I havent been able to think of anything good that comes from embracing those thoughts, but whatever works for you. Im pretty insightful to the darker side of humanity because I have known of some fucked up stories. I always thought embracing those thoughts would only let them grow. I will admit Ive had homicidal thoughts, usually towards someone who hurts someone I care about, but I try to reject them because if I didnt I would obsess over something that would end in likely death for me, because I will not go to prison alive. Anyway I find it best to focus on other things like writting songs and going camping or playing video games and attending events. I dont have time to be killing people.
