Do people call sex making love or do they call it having sex.

As a woman i feel that having sex should be only called making love if you truely love the person your with. I hear loads of people just call it having sex or it was just a fling... I admit i've called it havng sex before but when i'm with my boyfriend i always call it making love.
Is it true that if your with someone for like a year and you still love them as much as you did the first time you got together that you'd still call it having sex or do you just not see it as anything more?
I'm bi and With all the girls i slept with i only ever called it making love once but with my boyfriend i always say we're making love.
What is making love?
and how do you make love?
and why call it just having sex if it means something very special to you?

So, is it normal to call it "making love" or not?

I have an entire tier list for sex:

Making Love - The most intimate sex between people who are in love, and are sharing a sensual, bonding, love-making session.

Having Sex - The more casual sexual encounter. This can be with someone you love, like a quickie before he/she goes to work for example. Or it can be casual sex with a close friend.

Fucking - Energetic, raw & sexual. This is when lust takes over and you simply have to... fuck! Hot and heavy, and usually a tad on the rough side.

Boning - Having sex for the sake of getting off, and not much else. Usually it's fast and furious, and you tend to cum and go.

Getting Railed - Absolutely going at it as though you are both porn-stars. Rough and crazy!

What if it starts with a sensual massage and ends with hair pulling n ramming against the wall?

I see no reason why one shouldn't be able to progress into another :)

  • In the eyes of many I'll die a virgin because I refuse to have sex. What I want to do is make love. I want to have a connection with someone that is emotional as well as sexual. People nowadays have sex just for the convenience and short lived pleasure it provides, it has no meaning. Sex should be something special between two people, not an act committed out of alcohol or peer pressure.

i call it fucking.. what would you rather hear? "come here babe and make love to me" or "come here babe, i wanna fuck the shit out of you!"

either way its all the same. you still are sticking your sausage in the bun.

I normally either say fucking, or "can I squirtle on your jigglypuffs?" if she's into pokemon and stuff.

"Making love" implies slow, gentle, cuddly, barely-sex. When my boyfriend is yanking me by my hips back & forth while I'm on all fours or I'm bouncing up & down in his lap, we're fucking. The only love-making we do happens after the fact when I'm too worked to so much as stand on my own two feet & that's the way I like it.

Well I'm young but Ill help with your question. Making love is very different from just sex first off. Sex is more like lust, just to get your rocks off. Sex is not as meaningful , quick and leaves u feeling hollow and possibly used. I don't truly understand how people can just have "sex" I don't think it would feel as great! Making love can be the most romantic and amazing experiance you can ever have in life. Making love is being so close to somone u have no fears and have complete trust and they put your needs ahead of there's and treat u like a treasure. Making love is gental and tender full of emotion and you'll feel satisfied weither or not u finish. It's being so close that u don't know where he/she starts and wer you begin. Connecting your souls , minds and bodys is making love. It is one of the most beutiful and loving things a man and woman can do. I'm in my teens still but I have truly felt such an amazing feeling and love my man unconditionaly. Almost Every one deserves to find such happiness :) good luck

this is a really good question..me and my boyfriend been together for 6 years nn we make love(slow, soft, sweet, tender, passionate, loving) nn have sex(hard,nasty,biting,lickin,suckin,screamin,fast)..like really it all depends on how we feelin..how much time..where we doin it

well i'd like them to say 'come here make and love to me' then i know their not thinking about having sex with somone else. where as 'come here and let me fuck the shit out of you' is just going to be quick and they really just want somewhere to stick there cock for a little while.

    Eddie Murphy says it best.

    Well think about it.
When you get into bed would you want somebody to say, "Oh make love to me"?
Or grab the back of your head and say, "Fuck the shit out of me"?

I usually say "have sex" or "fuck" because "making love" sounds too mushy.

I agree with aussiewolf. I prefer to say/hear fuck. It is nice to hear my husband say that he wants to make love but a "Hey let's fuck!" is SO much better! The actions that follow are almost always a lot more fun when I hear fuck.

MAking love last hours and means something. Has connotative weight. Sex is dirty hot and fast xD Little connotative weight.
