Do people actually get more mature after losing their virginity?
Do they?, I've seen a lot of literature works implying this phenomenon.

Fuck no.
Some start acting like a kid in a candy store and start going after every piece of ass in sight.
I would almost argue the opposite with the way some people get so obsessed with sex and can't live without it.
Though I guess people like that are that way as virgins too.
Hell no, i'm still the goofy, man-child I was for 20 years before I tried it. Wasn't impressed, if anything I found it boring.
i said no however it is strange how u can just tell when someone is a virgin...
This is so true. I didn't lose my virginity til 21 and prior to that, no matter how cool I played it, people sensed it. Oddly enough, I got hit on a lot by gay men also, and in hindsight, I think some of the guys I hung with thought I may have been also.
When I finally got some tail, all of that went away. I have no clue what changed about me to stop giving give off gay or virgin vibes.
Sad btw because I was a good looking dude and missed out on some of the finest women on campus because I didn't know how to seal the deal.
which means, although losing your virginity does not necessarily make you more mature, it does change you in some ways.
A lot of maturity is based on experience.
Someone who is experienced with having sex is more likely to know how to have good sex and able to control themselves.... and will come off as more mature than a virgin.
Of course, there are always children who never learn to control themselves.... They will never appear to be "mature" until they outgrow that phase... if they outgrow it.
Absolutely not.
I know tons of non-virgins who have never matured past the age of 12.
