What goes through your minds when you see a woman with a tonne of make up on her face?...I personally see insecurities and lack of acceptance.

It totally depends. Some chick's go waaayyy overboard and look beyond fake. Other girls wear a minimal amount and look very nice. There's lots in between too for lots of different reasons. I don't think all women have the face to go all natural. I certainly don't. I would love to not feel like I had to wear foundation but that's not the case. I know my very black mascara and black eyeliner don't look natural, especially with bleach blonde hair, but I love how it brings out my eyes so I wear it and will continue to until I don't want to anymore. I don't wear makeup for other people, I wear it for myself. I don't care who has a problem with it.
You wear make up for yourself? That means you would wear make-up even if you were the last person on Earth?
Hmm, not likely. If I was the last person on earth, I'd be living a completely different lifestyle. One that I don't think I'd feel like I needed makeup for. Plus I probably wouldn't have any. I could use guano for mascara though. And berry blush if I so chose.
Lol yeah and if you were home alone...no i don't think so. I dont buy that. Make up is used to look good in front of other people, which is why I choose not to wear it unless I'm at a wedding which is fine, I would feel self conscious because everybody else looks good so i would feel the need to be at everybody else's level, but nothing that changes ny face and makes me look like a rainbow. It may be for yourself but i highly doubt that it is solely for yourself. I think celebrities that we see photo shopped in magazines and tv are responsible for women trying to reach perfection everyday with man made face paint. Make up is fun and it is pretty but yeah many women like to use up most of their products in one application which changes them and makes them look a bit drag queenish.
Well make up made to make yourself look better so obviously guys will generally like a woman to wear make up, just as women like guys who wear make up like actors on TV shows and movies wear make up.
Obviously if they go overboard with makeup then it just looks terrible but with a normal amount put on properly, I would say guys generally like that. :)
yeah. i'll be honest, i don't actually wear makeup for "myself" and anyone who says otherwise is a goddamn liar. I wear makeup so that when I go out and I get looked at a lot (lustfully by men, enviously by women) this, in turn, boosts my already bloated ego just that little bit more ;)
I much prefer no make-up at all, but a little bit is OK. My ex-gf wore so much foundation or some kind of face putty that it would get all over her collar and my clothes when she put her face on me. It was a real turn-off.

A ton of make up is off putting just like too much perfume. But a little to enhance your features is fine. Sticky lipsticks most guys hate!
My biggest issue is not everyone has nice skin, I have redness which makes me feel self conscious so I cover it up. Some have under eye circles or whatever... Why not cover it up if it makes you more confident? Young, naturally beautiful girls don't need makeup obviously, but what happens ten years later?
Not much, if any.
I prefer the natural beauty look when possible but when it's not, a small amount of subtle makeup is fine.
I dislike "clowns"
I prefer to go for the natural ways of improving and beautifying the skin rather than covering it up everyday with products that have ingredients in them that I cant even pronounce.
depends. it's good to switch it up just to have fun and experiment with different looks. generally less makeup is more casual and more makeup is for special occasions.
Well I like wearing makeup because it can totally change my look. I usually only wear heavy makeup when I go out to a nice dinner or a wedding or something. But I think wearing makeup is fun.
It shouldn't matter if you wear makeup or not. If you don't like wearing makeup then don't. if you do then wear it. Why does it matter what some guys think? You should do it for YOU not for any irrelevant stranger.
To me, a little mascara/eye shadow is enough. I find anything else to be off putting, especially lipstick.
If I saw a woman with a ton of makeup, I wouldn't think of her as insecure, I'd just keep walking. They have their reasons for wearing it and it's none of my business.
If she sneezes and a cloud of foundation conceals her face, she is wearing too much.
