Do i sound confused about my sexual orientation?

I have always considered my self asexual because I don't have the desire for sex nor a sexual relationship. I do however find certain guys hot (I'm a girl). I personally don't think I'd enjoy romantic acts though like making out. I have made out with a couple guys in my 21 years but I didn't like it.
It felt like nothing! I have become emotionally invested with a girl before (A close friend). I was pretty sure I had strong feelings for her at one point but I never got to kiss and see if it were romantic feelings. I know I got butterflies and all that around her, but I would definitely not enjoy doing anything sexual with a girl like going "down". I feel I can more easily become emotionally involved with a girl but possibly bang a hot guy, no strings attached but its not a desire. Am I asexual or what? If I'm romantically invested but not sexually, what does that make me??

    I'm not judging but something in your childhood was abnormal. I pulled a tarot card for you and asked what you were all about inside, and I got the three of swords meaning, someone or something resulted in absence, grief, separation, disconnection, break, rejection, Elimination, upheaval, interruption, clearing the way for something better, cleansing. Someone close to you? So that is why you are also seeming distant emotionally with others. I think kissing is more sensual than sex so there's my abnormality.

      Well I have had a lot of bad friendships in the past, like a lot of stuff happened. The main grievance was to do with my close friend & how rejected I used to feel because I couldn't be with her. Not that I ever told her though.

    You are confusing romance and sex, so I vote "confused" LOL XD
    Kissing and making out = mostly sexual acts, not necessarily romantic.

      Im pretty sure kissing is romantic as it isn't genitals smooshing together lol

        Sex is so much more then just meeting genitals. And while a kiss can sometimes be romantic, it doesn't have to be. Some kisses are purely sexual, involving a lot of desire and no romantic feelings at all.
        Sex can be very romantic sometimes, by the way.
