I am still wondering if I exist, see, I've been on earth for [XX amount] of years and have always thought I existed, but now I'm not sure...

Technically yes. But are other people real is the question? Are we just brains in a jar connected to a matrix? Or is it more likely we are just self aware animals that try to find meaning in life because survival is no longer something we have to put 100% effort into.
I'm putting my money on the self aware animal trying to find a meaning side of things. Though I do kinda hope for a game over screen after death. Wonder how many points I acquired?

Bad trips are just you freaking out because of the effects of the drug. Your mindset is extremely important to what the effects of the drug are going to be. It helps to just keep "I just dropped acid" on your mind and remember what you're getting freaked out about is a result of that.

Possibly. There's no real evidence to determine whether everyone exists and whether only one of us exists and "others" are merely our construct. If the latter is true, then by "I" you mean "me" and the answer is both yes and no in that you exist if you're me, and you don't exist if you're not me.
It's probably best not to think about it too much.
