Am I bugging or should my mom also give me respect ? Should any adult respect kids too ? My mother thinks she shouldn't respect me and I'm a nothing and even if I'm disrespected I shouldn't do anything about it what do you think
Respect should be given where it's due. It's also earned. I suspect there's another side to this story which you aren't sharing. Impossible to give any kind of substantive answer with such little information.

Sorry to hear that, but dont change who you are as a person or let their lack of respect dissapoint or rub off on you. If you are talking about giving but not getting respect in return from a particular individual, then that is more a reflection of who they are as a person, and not you, so don't worry about it. We are normally taught to always respect our elders in general but because all people are different, unfortunately respect is not always given in return. You will never please everyone in life but we should not let this deter us from continuing to do our best in life and getting on with it.
If you and your family can calm down and communicate then you deserve each other's respect. Until one of you makes that move then you probably don't.
Just do your best in life. Respect others first and you in turn will be respected.
