Girls usually seem to SAY they like the nice guy, but always go for the jerks... And someone said that in a movie too, is it true? (for the most part) Is it normal that they go for the jerks?
Be a nice guy but don't go overboard , girls like to fill they have a man next to them who is somehow in control... And go beyond when is time to have sex... Remember " if u play pussy you get fucked"

Usually they go for jerks saying they want a nice guy.
But right around college for me being a nice guy paid off. I pretty much have girls flocking to me cause I don't use being a nice guy to get into pants, i don't go to parties and use "bitchs" I like being myself, so it shouldn't matter what girls like. Be yourself dude and plenty of girls will be happy with that. Or one, if you happen to meet her lol...
There isn't a definitive answer. From experience, women are often put off by someone who doesn't assert themself. Jerks (despite being jerks) often seem assertive and are more likely to get the girl. But that's not to say that women like them acting like jerks.
Reading between the lines, what women actually want is a nice guy who can be strong, maybe a shade domineering when he has to be. "A gentleman when in company, but a b*stard in the bedroom", is how my ex puts it.
Only smart and mature women go for someone who will treat them with respect and truly love them. Idiots go for the cool guys who are ultimatly jerks. That's how I see it so QQ if you want, I don't care.

Some where in between guys that a nice nice tend to not want to hurt peoples feelings and jerks are just jerks but they know how to stand up for themselves

Be nice, but also be truly confident.. in a domineering way(a "born to lead" type of guy) and humorous. Mastery over the above should be enough to get you what you need
Obviously I'd like a midground between the two. But given the choice, I'd rather pick the jerk. I want to be a girlfriend, not a babysitter/toilet trainer.
And I have dated nothing but nice boys, so I think I have a right to bitch about them. Or maybe not; after all, it's my own fault I kept rushing into relationships, allowing myself to fall victim to the dreaded nice boy.
