Do filmmakers write sex scenes to see their actress/actors naked?

When I saw sex or nude scenes in the movie, some of them were meaningless. Sometimes I think the screenwriters wrote it because the filmmakers (Producers/Writers/Directors/Film Crews) wanted to seize an opportunity to see their actors/actress naked, especially if the actress willing to get naked in almost every movie like Kate Winslet

I think they just do it because sex sells. They throw it in as literal porn because it brings more people in. There have been no sex scenes in movies, at least none that show anything, that were important to the story.

Sure they do. There are also movies where the sex scenes were actually real sex.

Definietely, yes. Hollywood is full of creeps, it's normalized there. There's not a single pure soul in Hollywood, because if they were they would refuse to be part of it. But that stuff goes so deep and could be discussed for hours.

I agree, I know nobody wants to hear it. They want to hide their head in the sand and act like it's not true, it's a private world for actors actresses, power players, and the rich. Hollywood, the screen actors guild, the rich, the media(they consider themselves a power player), and politicians all want to keep it hid. None will admit it, except maybe Ronald Reagan and Trump because they either broke away or were never really accepted into the cesspool. When playboy was going strong, it was almost an automatic membership for the above mentioned people. Barcelona had a couple clubs like that and it was almost all Hollywood big shots, rich, and powerful. MPO is the ones that deny it the most and hardest, they are right in the middle of it.

Not 100% though. If it suits the scene and the movie was already mature in the rating theres no loss to adding nudity. While there would be a damage to the scene if there was no nudity in certain context.

I think so. A lot of the sex scenes are meaningless imo. I'm no prude but they walk the line between a more natural sex scene and straight up porn.
