Do drunken minds speak sober thoughts?

Someone who's only buzzed will definitely reveal sober thoughts, but when it gets past a few drinks, people will start just making stuff up.

drinking pretty much eliminates thought processes.. so its not really fair to judge people on what they say when they're drunk. sure it might be what they're actually thinking, but if they don't say it when they're sober then they're still good people for controlling what they say, know what i mean? we can't really help the thoughts we have, but we can control what we say and what we don't. you definitely need to try to not get mad at drunk people, unless they drink all of the time and you always gotta take care of them

I think both are true but you should not take drunk ppl too seriously as while its true that a passing thought may take control it does not speak everything about what that person is thinking

Other: Yes and No. For some people it does bring out true feelings, for others it makes them say stupid things that aren't even true for the simple fact that they are drunk. I know I've said some crazy things that were definitely false while I was wasted. Other times, its made me open about myself. It depends. Dont apply this saying to everyone, its not fair.

Nope. According to my experiences, everybody turns into total dimwits when they are drunk. They might speak serious stuff, but they still just repeat one or two sentences over and over.

Drinking normally just magnifies one's thoughts to the extreme. I agree that it's a bullshit excuse, and that you do what would normally take you a long time to work up to.

Yea I find some truth to this. But of course they are going to cover it up with "I was drunk", they don't want people to know the truth ;)

yep, i was camping the other day a load of friends and after a fare few cans i just decided to go lie down beside a girl(i know her well). I was told we were talkin for ages but i cant remember what i was talkin about but it must have been good cus i woke up the next morning a "happy camper" ;)

Drinking removes inhibitions. Things that you would not say normally, because you know the consequences, you say anyway when you are drunk.

I agree with flowersinapot because when I go overboard and black out, I write/say incoherent gibberish, but I think that's just because I incurred a stroke. lol.

They say the truth comes out when your drunk, from experience this is definatly true.

If you wanna know what someone REALLY thinks of you get em drunk I personally believe that a person true self is revealed when they're drunk they're either happy drunks, angry drunks or sloppy drunks either way they always say what's really on their minds

I always ask people why they like to get drunk.And they tell me because it releases inhibitions and you cna do and say whatever you want and then just use "I was drunk" as an excuse.

So yeah,I think drunk thoughts are just what you didn't have the balls to say while sober.
