Do any of you have vanity/ custom plates on your cars?

Any of you wonderful folk got a custom license plate?
And if you do, were they expensive. My 3 custom plates cost me 120 Euro.

I got a few, they are fairly cheap in Bulgaria, especially with connections. Here are mine:

E420 - P0420KA (E420 model name in license plate)
6-series - P8484KM (1984, year my BMW was made)
C350e - CHA SE 92 (German plate, reads CHASE 92, me being born in 1992)

No. 5
I won't tell you, because the government is spying, quickly put on this tinfoil hat! 2
Yes, it's... (post comment) 4
You are a pretencious cock for having one. 3
I don't care what my license plate says. 5

It's the motoring equivalent of a tribal facial tattoo: Look at MEEEEE!

I see you are the one who voted on me being a pretentious cock XD

Why tho, in the UK you can do so much with custom plates and can write many amusing words. Wish we had the same freedom in the rest of the EU.

Also the motoring equivalent of a tribal facial tattoo is stickerbombing your car. Vanity plates just mean you think you are more important than you really are, or just like a specific number combo.

Suppose you get a vanity plate with the same obscure number from a James Bond movie. That's a stealthy move, if you dare to fly under the radar.

You can't really be that conspicuous in most of Europe, cause you don't get as much freedom to move around numbers and letters as you do in the US.
Also I only drive those cars 3 times a year, so not enough time to get too recognizable.

In Bulgaria for example you can only chose the 4 numbers. You can't change the lettering. Such plates can cost as little as 50 bucks, if you have a buddy in the police department. Or if you're a rich mafia type, you pay 3000 Euro and get a 6 number license plate.

In Germany it's the same thing. City letters are always the same, you can only change numbers and two letters.
      But it's much cheaper - 20 bucks.

BTW: There was a poll where someone asked who would you like to spend the day with from iin. You and twerknbhu voted for me, with you wanting to race me and then go on a bar crawl together. Sounds like a good plan to me.

I was gonna reply, but the thread got deleted before I could.

Tho if you wanna race me, you need something with at least 400hp my friend, the E420CDI is a beast not to be underestimated XD

i gots just about 400 in one at least (rwhp dynoed)

i can change a supercharger pulley for more boost and drop a nos bottle on if necessary

how bout racin in the snow? ill bust out the lil sti

fun as fuck car but i feel like a total douche drivin it its too conspicuous and needs to be sleeperized

or i could drop 5 grand or so and drop a turbo kit in the ole beatup silverado

4wd launch and 650hp claimed by kit now thats a sleeper

how bout a demolition derby? ill fire up the excavator

Guess you have good toys for a play date XD

We could do runs up mountain roads. Cause it's not just about power, but putting that power down on the road, even if the road is curvy, or wet, or both.

Snow racing sounds fun, tho you'll be the one racing with the Scoobie, all of my cars are useless in the snow, but still great fun to slide about. I can pull off sick drifts while doing the speed limit in snow.

Is it bad to have a slightly douchey car? STI's are supposed to be brash and loud. I'd keep it that way and maybe add some antilag and do sick launches.

650hp on an old beater silverado? Won't that much power literally destroy it? If not you'll have the ultimate sleeper. Embarrassing most AMG and M-guys...

Once I restore my old S600, I can get it up to 600-610hp, but any more than that and I'm risking catastrophic failure somewhere.

Nope on the demolition derby, I want to keep my cars intact, but if we each had a POS beater, I'm down.

            https://www.on3performance.com/product-tag/turbocharged-silverado/

No guarantee on the resta the driveline specially doin 4wd launches

            cheap & easy kit though

i tried the sti once in the snow on summer tires and it wasnt fun but i got a seta winter wheels so once i swapped em it was pretty surefooted in the snow

i still feel like a douche drivin it but its so fun i dont care

and im lovin drivin stick again

im keepin it stock though cause the motors are notorious for blowin up and subaru americas notorious for not honorin warranty on modded cars

yall gotta try some heavy equipment thats a fuckin blast man

I would like to have that but you have to pay every year for it, so I pass.

You pay for it every year? Damn, in Germany and Bulgaria you only pay once. In Germany it costs 20 bucks and 150 in Bulgaria, 50 if you have a policeman buddy.

I don't have one, but I do have a friend whose license plate on his motorcycle says Boricua which essentially means Puerto Rican.

Cool, that's a proper American muscle car right there. Must have been awesome driving it across the desert with old rock on the radio.

Yes, but you never told me what was spelled on your vanity plate...

Too bad you can't get much freedom with custom plates in Europe. Very hard to be cheeky and funny.
Best I could do was CHA SE 92 on my C350e showing my love for the 90s.

The rest are kind of generic showoff Bulgarian plates. In Bulgaria, if you have 2, or more digits (out of 4) that are the same, you are considered cool and as an added bonus won't be towed...
Seriously, cars with vanity plates are usually bought by rich businessmen, politicians, or the mafia and are mostly on premium German cars. So nobody wants to tow those cars, possibly damage them and risk having their legs broken. So if you are in a hurry, you could park somewhere where you shouldn't and be ok.
