Dizzy when i smoke weed?

So yeah, I don't smoke weed very often, but when I do, I immediately start to feel dizzy after the first inhale. I've done weed like 2 times now, with an interval of a few weeks.
I don't think that after I've taken a few inhales i can walk a straight line. I'm not talking about strong stuff now, maybe 0,3g per cigarette.

Does this feeling mean I'm high or is it just a side effect? This dizziness sorta makes me feel a little lighter and less oriented.

Thanks for your time and I'm looking forward to your replies! :D C:

Cessation may be the only cure for this sensation.

  • Only people that don't really smoke seem to get dizzy. Ive smoked everyday for years and never get dizzy from it, if anything it takes dizziness away...

I also get dizzy after a few hits.
for me its because a combination of lack of oxygen
and adrenaline from knowing I'll be getting high soon.

but I hurt myself once by jogging a bit to catch up with my friends after just taking a hit, (we go for walks when we're smoking)
I got so dizzy I fell.

haha, so sit down a sec and let the dizzy pass before
    doing anything strenuous.
If the feeling is too unpleasant, just stop smoking.

Ive been noticing lately that lots of people experience this, especially people who dont smoke often.

It was happening to me too years ago, my theory is either lack of oxygen to the brain or you're experiencing some kind of body load, as in your brain is telling your body not to move so it can cope with the weird feelings a little easier. It may also have something to do with your blood sugar levels, it's hard to pin point exactly what causes it because everyone's bodies react so differently to things and Im no scientist.

Anyway, it's a common side effect and usually it's not a problem. Just be careful, Ive seen people pass out and hit their heads, some people just dont have the lungs for it and should take smaller hits to avoid hurting themselves.
